President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner highlighted the scientific work done in Rosario by the IBR

As part of the opening of the new station vacuum degassing plant in Siderar in Ramallo , the president emphasized the technological advancement in the city , referring to the Institute of Molecular Biology of Rosario (IBR) and the excellence of scientists working there.

In this context, Cristina said that the work being done by the IBR , ” Rosario today is the most important platform in molecular biology and this is an honor for us .”

Surely the praise of head of state encourage the daily effort of researchers, scholars and all the staff of the Institute, who every day do collectively betting edge science , optimizing the resources that are available, from the inside country .

Meanwhile , Alejandro Vila, Director of IBR , was grateful for the president considerations , and mentioned that the Institute “is at full capacity and now parts are planned. Last week marked a year we moved to La Siberia. Compared to the situation in which we worked at the Faculty of biochemistry, changed the way of doing science . not only for the quality of the building but the fact of working in one place , you can integrate resources, building teams . It is a resounding change in the way we do science. ”
