The IBR is seeking for new Group Leaders and is interested in original and innovative research employing interdisciplinary approaches in the general area of molecular cell biology and functional genomics. Researchers early in their career who want to pursue an independent trajectory of originality and discovery are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate’s research program will complement the research ongoing at the institute (see www.ibr-conicet.gov.ar).
Applying for a Group Leader Position at IBR
The institute seeks to strengthen its efforts in diverse areas including, but not limited, to: contemporary microscopy applied to cell Biology or cell Microbiology, Protein X-ray crystallography, Proteomics and Functional Genomic. Applicants should be applying or being members of the Career Investigator of the National Research Council from Argentina (CONICET). It is expected that the applicants should be able to obtain funding for their research. The institute will provide laboratory space according to the research accomplishments of the applicants and their scientific pursues. The institute offers access to equipment’s and facilities. Our institution is dynamic and designed to support and stimulate science, with an administration committed to meeting the needs of our scientists and eliminating distractions from their research.
