Maria Celeste Robert holds a degree in Biotechnology from the Faculty of Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCByF) at the National University of Rosario. She completed her PhD in Molecular Biomedicine at the Università degli Studi di Trieste, in the Fondazione Italiana Fegato (FIF) – ONLUS (Trieste, Italy), under the supervision of Dr. Claudio Tiribelli and Dr. Silvia Gazzin. She then conducted her postdoctoral research at the Binational Center (Argentina – Italy) for Clinical and Applied Cryobiology Research (CAIC) at the National University of Rosario, under the direction of Dr. Joaquín Rodríguez.
At the end of 2018, she was appointed Associate Researcher at CONICET at that center. Currently, she is an Associate Researcher in the Molecular and Cellular Lipid Biology Group, led by Dr. Claudia Banchio. Within this group, she specializes in the pathophysiology of ischemic Stroke (IS).
